Wouldn't it be nice if you had just not made that comment?

Re: Fall Decorating with Sunflowers

We were just talking about sunflowers last night.  For the past several years a farmer planted sunflowers in one of his fields and they were harvested for the birds.  This year there are none.  Smiley Sad

I love sunflowers and use them in my decor.  Smiley Happy

@AnikaBrodie and @Regal Bee ...your beautiful sunflower photos brought back memories of the best trip of my life ...to Italy in 2015. We stayed in Tuscany for two weeks in the home DH's grandfather had built decades ago...a real Tuscan Villa, surrounded by the homes of other family members. We traveled to Rome and the Amalfie Coast for 4 days and all along the highway to Rome there were fields and fields full of sunflowers. I couldn't believe my eyes at the beautiful fields all along the highway! It brought tears to my eyes then ... and again now as I recall that beautiful memory.

@Regal Bee

I have sunflowers out too.....I have an arrangement on my dinning room table, and in my kitchen.......I agree those can easily transition in with the fall decor.............

Sunflowers were in abundance near a greenbelt and fields near my subdivision but sadly the city chopped them all down......they looked so pretty..........

Yes indeed, wouldn't it have been much less time and effort to simply avoid the thread and make no post at all? Some people put a lot of time and effort into being miserable, and even more into trying to make others feel the same.

Well, bless their hearts.
