@magicmoodz   Don't be hard on yourself.  Many days we are eating in the recliner or sofa, with a plate, bowl or take out box.  😉.  I love a pretty table, but just not our lifestyle except for some holidays a few times a year.  We don't entertain like years ago.

OMG, I must be in the minority here.  Pink overload!  I like a touch of pink, especially when mixed with a soft green, but that's way too much for me.  I suspect Barbie would love it though.

@Venezia

You're not alone. It's too much pink for me too.

@on the bay,  how fantastic that you have a daughter who enjoys continuing the tradition, and using the family's lovely things!

Even though there are not as many these days who enjoy and conserve the past, there are definitely *some* who do, and there always will be some, I believe.

"Romantic"---  @Puzzle Piece ,  exactly, that's the precise word I'd use for the table setting.

Regarding the proliferation of pink in this one.  Clearly, they used it lavishly since it is a favored color of the hostess Dody.  I was thinking though, that those fab pink dessert plates could go in some interesting directions.  You could combine them with chocolate linen napkins in a more casual setting.  They'd be great with moss green, navy accessories.  So many dramatic possibilities...

It's nice and all but I'm a far more casual type of person and this is just a little too frou frou for me.  I also am not a pink lover so I'd choose a different color scheme even if I wasn't so casual.

Very pretty and I guess she is a lover of pink!  I wouldn't have the envery to do all that. And also, the storage space needed.
