I guess it all depends on what you consider wealthy. I've had good friends who were multi-millionaires, don't think billionaires, who had normal homes, a small yacht, small plane, motorhomes - the normal stuff most of us would like to have. Both were self-made businessmen and brought up like most average Americans and lived just like the rest of us, wore wrangler jeans, not big-name designer clothes, etc. Only difference, they didn't have to budget for a vacation, worry about upkeep on stuff, had people wash their cars (two to three cars) and clean their houses.
And, the one problem that came with having a few bucks - always wondered if people liked them for themselves, not for what they had.
Guess it all depends on whether you've been brought up rich or attained it yourself, along with family upbringing and values.
