Re: English Kitchen Dresser Pretties...

They're not my kind of dishes nor do I care for pink and the owner needs to learn, "Less is more!".

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

Fun colors and patterns to delight the eye, and whet the appetite for a spot of tea.  I would love to be a guest at that table.

I love pink; howeverI don't care for the cluttered display.

I'd like to see the pieces better.

I love the floor.  Otherwise, I think it's awful.  I tried to be nicer but can't dig up the words to describe why I think it is awful. . . Woman Frustrated

Re: English Kitchen Dresser Pretties...

The dining room is stunning.  My mother loved antiques and collected china.  She had her treasures in a Breakfront and a few items displayed on side tables.  Now I have the breakfront and continue keeping the china in it.  While I love this display shown in the picture, I feel the china should be spaced so you could see the beauty of all pieces.  I love the cups on the hooks but the rest is too crowded.

Or, as a friend of mine who has open shelving does, rinse the items off before use and then wash them before being put back.

Re: English Kitchen Dresser Pretties...

Visually VERY appealing to me, but I wouldn't want to dust it for sure and I personally have my tea cups behind glass or a closed cupboard! I know it's in a home, but wouldn't you love to see this in a tea shop or coffee/tea/bakery where you could just stare at it? I would!
