Reminds me of a modern version of "The Walton's" eating area.

@stevieb I actually LOVE everything is this room. I rarely like all pieces in these phtos but to me, this reeks of coziness and home. Love the Waltons reference someone made as I still watch it in reruns.

@Love my grandkids  I really like this room too... I'm not usually a big fan of 'farmhouse' but this one resonates with me for some reason. I tell you what's crazy, talk about detail, but that yellow bag on the floor really helps set off the overall room... Were this my back kitchen stairway, I'd find a way to incorporate a permanent yellow feature into the room... Grey and yellow look so nice together...

Farmhouse style was "early attic" according to my mom! Gotta agree with her.

I like it, and the map on the wall is a touch I love (love maps).  I'd just change the gray paint color and the gray industrial lights, and leave everything else the same-- cozy.

@Oznell  Here's what's amazing... as much as I rail against grey I actually like it in this room... I know, go figure... I might change out the lights too, but maybe not... As noted above, though, I'd definitely introduce some yellow somehow, somewhere... Incidentally, I enjoy maps too... In this case, though, while I'd definitely keep it, I might move that smaller map and install a larger predominantly yellow print in that large blank white space.
