Re: Elton John candles for Spring

I'm still burning one from Christmas and have another one in my hall closet.  Will probably still watch the show but won't be buying this time around.

Re: Elton John candles for Spring

Personally, I think candles are a waste of money (for me anyway).  I always worry about an open flame.  They never last as long as they say they will. The nice scent is confined to one area.  And then there is the container to deal with.  Do I throw it out?  Do I take the time to get all the wax out of a glass jar and then recycle it?

I have a lot of flameless candles.  Plus I use a plug in scent diffuser from Bath & Body Works.  I always get the pine or balsam scents, as that is what I love.

Hope those of you who get the candles love them.

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. Margaret Mead

@DREAMON To make money, why else does anyone sell anything?

As if he needs it.....I know I have a choice to purchase or not.

I just think Elton John and candles is a strange pairing...but I guess anyone can sell anything.

Re: Elton John candles for Spring

Must have had a weak moment when his candles were sold the last time.  While I like the containers and use them for storing small items, the candles themselves hardly had any scent.  Very disappointing.  I have my wits about me this time around and won't be buying.

I'm sure they smell great, however as the weather warms up, I tend to do more melts than candles, as I like to have my windows open....

I think he partnered with Harry Slatkin and he loves Harry's candles, that is why he is selling them......Good deal for Harry as I am sure he sells a ton of them.

Re: Elton John candles for Spring

I like Elton just fine, but absolutely no candles in my house. When we purchased our last house every ceiling had to be painted due to small black marks from candle soot (or whatever you call it). Un-unh.
