Ellens line moving to BBW ??

My latest flyer from Bed Bath and Beyond had "ED" and Ellens photo on the cover. Does this mean it didnt sell well on QVC and its been moved off the air? I did notice many items on clearance. Maybe the Scott Brothers stuff was selling better? I hadnt heard Ellen say she was leaving QVC.

They're just selling her bedding and throw pillows. I imagine we'll find out if she's coming back to QVC once Christmas in July starts.

I sometimes think that one line is for QVC and one line is for the other retailer; the items are "unique" the that specific retailer.

I also think that MANY vendors get their "jump" on QVC and then move on. I remember what a Connie Stevens rep said regarding her leaving HSN and it all had to do with "make more make more make more faster faster faster and cheaper cheaper cheaper". Perhaps the vendors don't want their product to go down that path or they can't make it faster and cheaper but often, you see them doing very well via another retailer after leaving QVC/HSN.

In my opinion - Ellen's stuff is no different nor better than K-Mart - and she can't even travel to PA - Carolyn has to fly to 'her'. What a flop.

I don't know about the bedding or pillows that are being sold at BB&B, but I have several of her home decor items from QVC and the quality is outstanding. I like seeing her QVC shows that are live from the set of her talk show. To me, it's a nice change of pace. Flop is not a word I'd use to describe a woman who, in addition to her successful line at QVC, has a successful talk show, has produced and hosted 2 seasons of a design show, just got her line of products into BB&B, supports over 70 charities and causes, and is worth over 200 million dollars.

My money's on OUT the door. I don't think she had more than a couple new items since Christmas. Like someone else said, it we don't see her in CIJ, then she's out. Too bad. I like her taste. I would have liked to see more items, more often. There's a lack of really nice home decor aired on the Q.

@BornToShop Bed, Bath & Beyond. There are almost 70 of her products available online. Most of them are bed sets. Considering there is only 1 bedding set being offered on QVC, it's obvious her line is growing and thriving.
