I think so too @jubilant. There are always things I'd choose to change in almost any room. Here, I don't care for the coffee table. This room offers a largely neutral, somewhat sophisticated if a bit flat look that's not going to appeal to everybody. I wouldn't want my sitting room done like this but I do like it. I think the windows are pretty and the room appears to be restful.

I personally do not like anything about this room.  That is why there are all different styles, something for everyone.

The round coffee table throws everything off.  I'd put a nice light colored or light wood bookcase, entertain piece, etc. on the wall to the left in the picture.

I would put a loveseat to match the sofa (or in an interesting geometric) or two club chairs and ottoman across from the bookcase.  The two small chairs could go across from the sofa with a nice small table between.

The awful coffee table would be replaced with perhaps a brass and glass one or a traditional bamboo/black table (can't remember what 'ya call those!).  Or a leather ottoman bench.
