@Kachina624 ... Consider it 'aspirational'...  I don't live in a home like that either and if I did, I'd still want rooms I could relax in and enjoy. Still, I'd love to have an elegant sitting room as well...

Too pastel for my taste.  And, what's that next to the fireplace?  Looks like a dresser that belongs in a bedroom.

The furniture doesn't fit the scale of the room.  That is except for the oversized mirrors.

This is a gorgeous room but the furniture is too much for me...too many chairs, mirrors, and odd pieces.

@ALRATIBA.  I have small non-matching chests at each end of my sofa.  They have doors but no drawers.  I like the look better than end tables.  Good storage.  They're great to hold reading lamps since they're higher than end tables.
