This room really confuses me. 

The architectural details, along with the rug, artwork & curtains speak to traditional elegance, but the rustic furnishings look better suited to a country styled house, garden, or outdoor space. The two just don’t go together IMO. 

What do you think?

I agree, the furniture is better suited for a patio and the bench and table for a farmhouse.  It also look uncomfortable.

@wilma To me this is a mish-mash. I love the wall color and love the drapes tho as a rule I hate drapes! Love the coffee table and the 2 little stools but strongly dislike every other thing in this room. It is a mess IMO, just too much stuff.

It really doesn't know what it's supposed to be!

It confuses me too, I do not like it at all!It looks like a mish mash of stuff-nothing goes together to me.

I think if the wall and drape colors were darker, like a tan or brownish color, it would look fine.  Or if the furniture was exchanged for more of a French style.  It is just too mixed up to look elegant.

I'm not a fan of either style on their own much less combined.

I feel like this room calls for overstuffed very comfortable furniture. It looks like someone got it all ready and then just stuck what furniture they had in it.

Never, did I ever, know how much I hate blue.  But I do wear a lot of it.  Just nuts.
