looks to me like someone either read in a book what shabby chic was, and didn't quite get the concept or decorated with garage sale finds.  either way, it doesn't work.

The room is lovely but the furnishings just don't go.  Maybe they ran out of money or couldn't find what they want and stuck what they had in there.

I like the blue walls and white trim. I even like the look of the coffered ceiling although I wouldn't want to clean or paint it down the road (lots of cobwebs I imagine). But I don't like anything else in that room Did anyone else notice the stairs appear to be painted the same color of blue? Too much.

A few pieces might be good for some other room but in general, no to all the furnishings.

The bones of the room are good, but this room is a do-over.

I think it looks like the previous owners painted it and put the window treatments up and left the rug.  Then the current owners moved in with their furniture from a completely different style house.

This room. Is confusing to me as well! Really stressful and unattractive.

OMG this really doesn't work. This is an Indoor/Outdoor furnished room for sure.

I guess if the owner likes it that's all that matters.
