Electric Blanket needed!

i'm looking for a new electric blanket. haven't used one since i was a kid, and now just lay on a heating pad, which doesn't seem safe to me. i want to decrease my heating bill too. there are so many brands and types now, though, i don't know what is recommended. any suggestions? thanks!
