Oh Whitelinen,

Your spring work in progress is looking great. I love everything....from those tall green floral pieces to your cart and you're a girl after my own heart. I love a lot of white or distressed white and I love that aqua blue color that you are using to paint that metal bowl. You've got quite a few spring projects going. I'm still chuckling about your DH having to duck while you took the pictures. Be sure to share pictures when you have it all done. You have quite the eye...can't wait to see the finished projects.

Thanks ladies!

I think I got each for 3.50, on sale. The Ashland accessories are 40% off this week; the potted flowers are Ashland. I was there yesterday and found only the three colors above. There were only a few left. Is Sunday the first day of their sales? That would be the day to shop. My local store is out of a lot of things by the time I finally make it in sometime during the week.

I really need to put Easter filler in the bottoms of the hurricanes. They are just resting there until the full Easter relocation program begins. I found some really, really nice wooden painted eggs and some beaded eggs for a very wonderful price at GW this week. Love that store . . .

I told DH to duck when I took the pic of my pieces in progress. He did not so you can see the top of his head in the pic lol!

Will probably pull out the Easter totes tomorrow and go full out with the decs this week.

Such FUN!!

Wow, that's a great price for the pots. I hope our store still has some but you are right about getting there right away for their sales. What is GW?

Hi! Love what you have going for spring already! I haven't been on the boards much the past few months (bought a new house and am getting our old one ready to put on the market), but I'm trying to catch up now that things are slowing down a bit for me.

Your decorating is getting me inspired to dig out my spring stuff!

Everything looks very promising, WL, and I just love the way your bunny is smiling at the camera.

Whitelinen~ I love the new ideas you have come up with so far. Did you sponge the moss green on the potted plant bases in the first photo? They have that nice mossy, old look to them. The grape hyacinth flowers are so lifelike. I also like your double tiered off white metal basket. That is a nice piece that you could decorate for any holiday. Love the green toile tote your Keurig coffee is stored in.

Have fun digging through your Easter totes this weekend. I would be doing the same thing right now, had I not put St Patricks up last week. I'm not so sure that was a good move, because when St Patricks is over, my Easter will go out, then I will only have a month to enjoy it. I think I would like to enjoy my Easter decor a little longer than a month. May have to rethink this.

Hi Rose my dear! Are you expecting another snowstorm beginning tonite too? I work tonite and tomorrow night, and I have to tell you I am so tired of the storms happening on the weekends when I work. I am telling myself that this stuff only makes me yearn for and appreciate SPRING more & more. That is why I love living in the midwest--the seasonal changes. It's like a rebirth every Spring . . .

Anyway, the Hyacinth came already sponged. These are great little accent fillers for the money. I think Ashland has such nice accessory pieces, especially when they are 40% off.

I have wanted a coffee server on the island for a while. It started when I saw Confessions of a Plate Addict's PB galvanized tiered server. She made a really sweet coffee "bar" from the server, and it caught my eye. Checked out the server and it's about $65 at PB. I found this one at HL for around 25, so I scooped it up. In my case the trick is not to make it look too "junky" on the island. I'm still thinking about repainting the tray in Pure White instead of Country White to make it flow with the server a little better.

Stay warm & safe this weekend! Would love to see some Easter pics from your house when you get everything up. I will post more as I put it together. Trying not to repeat how I put it all up every year. But don't you think if you like something a lot it's comforting to see it again and again???

Bobby, you are so sweet thanks for the encouragement. It's kind of scary to put things out here, my style is not everyone's. Happy to hear we are kindred spirits with the distressed look. I started out just liking a little distressing on the edges and now I am OTT with preferring things like this:

What do you think of the table????
