Easter egg luminaries

Ladies,

I received my Easter egg luminaries today and I think mine might be defective. When I took them out of their plastic wrap they had a terrible odor to them. I turned them on and they blink on and off like a neon sign. They are beautiful turned off, but the light blinking like that is not. I just love Valerie and have tons of her items, but I'm afraid I may have to return these. I'm totally disappointed. {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Has anyone else received theirs? If so, what are yours like?
