I made the boiled egg chicks either last year or the year before. They came out cute. Those dyed hard boiled egg whites are pretty. Could you imagine chopping them all up for ""confetti egg salad""?

Those chicks are adorable. I agree that multi colored egg whites are not that appetizing to me.

So cute, whitelinen. I might try them- they could be made ahead, just like regular deviled eggs. I go crazy if I don't have lots made ahead for Easter. It's just so much work!

I would go through too many eggs trying to cut them right. I'm thinking they used a certain type of tool to cut it zig zag.

Just use a small paring knife and do angled/zig-zag cuts.

I just saw these ""baby chick"" devilled eggs at a baby shower yesterday. They were adorable! And delicious!

Actually, they are very easy to cut because of how soft egg whites are. Rosehill, how far ahead of time do you make your deviled eggs? I've always wondered how long beforehand I could make them .

WL, I can't stand how adorable & cute these eggs are! Deviled eggs are my DH's absolute favorite!! I can't wait to try these, although I will ensure my stock levels of Poo- Pourri is adequate and accessible if you get my drift...;-). Thanks for sharing!
