Re: Earthtones + Patterns in Open Concept

Nothing about this space does it for me.

It's ok--but I do not like that horrible gold, mustard color-----

This one , I'd have to see in person to walk around the rooms.

I don't mind the mix of patterns in this space, but I'm not a fan of the chairs. The living room chairs look uncomfortable, and the dining chairs remind me of those plastic chairs from the 60s & 70s. The tables look ok except for the one between the living room chairs - don't like that one.

I guess it's okay.

I'm not a fan of open concept.  I prefer separate rooms w/doors.

This room gives off a sense of uncomfortable chill.  Any earthiness isn't up to the challenge.  I may be too partial to curves.

NO.  Definitely looks cheap like the person decorating looked in a book that was taken off the shelves for horrible design.

Re: Earthtones + Patterns in Open Concept

For me, it doesn't flow well together and it's the mosaic rug that's throwing the room off.  Replace that with a solid rug or one with a border and I'd like it better.  I LOVE the patterns on the pillows, the wall hangings (wrought iron???) and that end table.
