Re: EAST GRAND RAPIDS KITCHEN

Very elegant; I really like it. The island and breakfast nook/window seat area are great.

@Kachina624  I think the refrigerator is camouflaged by the long door. This is a beautiful kitchen/dining area.

Very nice kitchen. Love the windows. I like the dark wood with the ivory walls & lighter cabinets. I'm not crazy about the brown chairs and would prefer a bit more color.

It's a lovely kitchen.  That window is beautiful.

However I very much dislike sinks in the island.  Too messy and sloppy.  All I can envision is splashing water all over someone sitting or standing on the other side. Nope, not for me.

@elated.  I considered that possibility but there's no grille with the air vents at the bottom so i decided thar just a  cabinet.

I  LOVE!!!! the curved single slab back splash!! but not a fan of the dark woods/floor. But the cabinet colors are lovely.

Because the kitchen is designed to be open and airy, the refrigerator may be hidden behind cabinetry or integrated into a built in unit so it’s not visually prominent. This is a common trick in high‑end kitchens to maintain a clean, uncluttered look while still providing full appliance functionality.

In most such designs, the refrigerator is typically located along the back wall of the kitchen, under or beside the sink or in a built-in pantry unit to keep it out of sight.
