Re: EARLY EIGHTEEN HUNDREDS LONG ISLAND HOUSE

I love that Dining Room and 1/2 Bath especially. I am not a fan of the attic room wallpaper, but a beautiful home!

Really love the attic rooms with the matching wallpaper and fabric...the furniture is wonderful!  Rush seat and cane seat chairs are wonderful to see...I have a cane seat bench and some cane seat and caneback chairs and a rocker. Very much like the terracotta color used throughout the home and natural wicker chair. Beautifully designed!

It's nicely put together, but it's not my style. I like some of the individual pieces like the bench in the foyer & the cabinet in the dining room. I'm not a fan of the canopies, ruffled skirts on furnishings, wallpaper, and murals. My favorite spaces are the foyers.

Very nicely done. Like you @Oznell, I'd not have opted for those beds with posts and hangings but otherwise, I very much like the design and decor of this lovely old place.

Very beautiful.  I would take out the rust influences and put in forest green, slightly muted.

I LOVE that dining room!!! and the wooden flooring!Smiley Happy

@Oznell

I so enjoyed the tour of this home.  And what I really liked is that it doesn't look or feel cluttered.
