I sent back a defective dyson and it is now being shipped back to me. I spent 369.00 and customer service Service could care less. They are quick to take your money but will not make their customers happy. Any thoughts out there? I'm so angry!

Hello, school girl 9 and welcome. Smile

Wow, that's really weird that they did that. Try calling QVC again and telling them what happened. I know, I know, customer service didn't help the first time. Sometimes it helps to call back and explain it to a different person.

Who did you send it back to, QVC or Dyson?

Two people in my family have had to contact Dyson regarding problems developing in their Dyson's after a couple of years. My dil's Dyson was able to be repaired. Dyson paid shipping costs both ways and the repair was fully covered. My son's Dyson couldn't be repaired and they had him take it back to Best Buy who issued him a full store credit for the current purchase price of an equivalent model.

Hope you have as good an experience with Dyson as my family members have had.

Unless you returned it within 30 days, you have to contact the manufacturer. Was your return within the 30 days?

Not to worry, Dyson will be on YET again this weekend... Maybe you could order another, or better yet, one for every room...

On a serious note, call Dyson directly. It might have been unique, but I had a pretty good experience with their Customer Service. Granted, this was a number of years back, but they took all the time needed to walk me through a very minor routine maintenance item for my machine. It's been a workhorse.

As for the whole thirty day thing, if it's defective, it's defective and even if QVC won't stand behind it, I'd bet Dyson will. Of course, if we're talking about a machine bought months ago, then yes, relying on the manufacturer warranty is the way to go in the first place.

Wow, too bad you didn't call Dyson customer service. I have several Dysons and the issues we had with ours we gave their reps a call and they are phenomenal at problem solving over the phone! I am a very happy Dyson customer!
