Anyone else wondering why Dyson is on air today which was advertised as a fall home decorating day? Since when is a Dyson on in a show titled "Best Dressed Home" and "Fall Decorating" and then is in the YHJ fall show presented twice. Usually Dyson has its own titled show. What a disappointment! I was waiting for this day and expecting something new and great as a TSV for this fall decorating day. I looked ahead at the schedule and next Tuesday's TSV is titled "Best Dressed Home" again. I'm still trying to figure out how to use a Dyson in my fall decorating plans!!!!!!!

Someone else has posted that this is an older model (or current one anyway) with a new one coming soon (or available only at Dyson now/soon) so my guess would be Q bought way too many of these and needs to move them now, before the newer version catches people's attention.

Uh oh... Mistake number one... Expecting something new and great...
It goes without saying that the TSV will ALWAYS be the overkill item of the day, no matter what cute little event title they've come up with for the same old stuff...

Because ITKWD is a 3-hour show tonight, I figured the Dyson would show up. And here it is. Personally, I don't vacuum the kitchen floor when I'm cooking.

When the first one came out I ordered it to give it a try even though I swore I'd never buy another Dyson after the experience I had with one of their $500 Animal Vacs I bought (elsewhere).... and when it came it didn't have a slide lock on the dang thing. In order to keep it going you have to keep your finger depressed on the "on" button the entire time.
Every time you let up on it, the engine goes off. I don't have anything wrong with my hands (yet) and found this one glitch to be one of the most irritating (and tiring) things about the product.... sent it back and got another brand (that you can keep "on" as long as you want, or slide off...... love the thing btw..... (Electrolux).
But watching an hour of Dysons is like watching paint dry.... or an hour of mattresses or Bose radios....

@NewHP, No, I'm not wondering. Most people deep-clean their houses before decorating for various holidays and seasons...wash windows, wash curtains, vacuum rugs, floors, furniture, etc., etc. I know I do. So...QVC figures let's sell them a Dyson. Fits right in with harvest decorating. They also had a Don Aslett program today -- again, reinforcing the seasonal cleaning rituals -- and we (QVC) can help you do it. Simple Marketing 101.

You need something to vacuum up all the glitter they put on too many of these decorations!!!

It is my belief that the Q sells airtime to certain vendors -- likeIT cosmetics, sleep number and Dyson. It's nothing less than an infomrcial aired over and over again.
Philosohy is just as bad, but the Q owns them so they can stretch out the soap flakes as long as they can.
