I'm glad Dyson CS was able to help you out. With 4 cats, I wouldn't be without my cordless Dyson. I use it daily on my LR and kitchen/TV room tile floors and have never run out of a charge. I don't have a huge home so maybe that's the reason. I'd never replace my lightweight cordless Dyson for the big Dyson cord vacuum - they are so heavy, although the suction is amazing.

to Jannabelle:   I totally agree.  Dyson vacuums are ''off the charts'' effective (when they are working).  I was - and still am shocked at how much dirt that collects in the tank after I vacuum...and I thought my house was CLEAN !!  I don't think I could ever go back to using anything else but a Dyson.  If one has to clean, MIGHT AS WELL DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME !
