Don't know how to describe this but....

Have any of you burned a candle(s) so long that they ultimately end up with a "burnt" scent the next time you burn them? It is hard to describe but that is the only thing i can think is happening.... that i literally burn them too long that they end up stinking later... i suppose it is a soot smell. i don't really know what soot smells like. I don't have any black soot though. They don't start out smelling like this but i managed to do again with a slatkin i just got about a week ago. So now it doesn't smell very good.
