No...they are to be used for the life of the cleaning product.  I have used the set of 2 cleaners with swabs for years and have no complaints on the product or swabs at all.  The cleanser works great and I rinse the swab and let it air dry and it is good to go.

These swabs are great.  The Aslett cleaner is terrific--easy to use and cleans really well.

I have used this product for years.  2 months ago I purchased 2 more caddies with the cleaner and swabs.  Unfortunately,  one of the swabs fell apart after only a few uses.  Not good.
