This is what I want to do this year. I've never wrapped it around the stem up to the ceiling.

I have added ribbon and hung Christmas balls from it. But it does take some time.

I need to try the red and white one on mine. I have a lot of candy cane stuff in the dining room.

I did it last year and this year. I copied Valerie and used her beautiful Crystal ornaments. I used a beautiful pliable faux pine with mini pine cones from Michael's. I used satin ribbon to tie around each candle sconce and stuck holly berries in the garland. I had a Downton Abbey themed tea last year for my girlfriends and it looked great.

I have not. I think chandeliers are decorative and beautiful without adding anything.

I tend to agree with you. But the pictures that brii posted look very nice. No idea though how you'd securely wrap a pine garland in and around the chandelier without damaging it.
