I only iron twice a year, and today is one of those days. Strike while the iron is hot, so to speak. I have misplaced the plastic measuring cup with which you fill the iron. I'm only using 1/2 cup at a time because if I use too much I might blow the darn thing up. Well, probably not, but I'd like to dare to use more water in each fill and get this chore done faster.

@depglass ~ Isn't there a water gauge on the iron?

I just checked and it's 3/4 cup

Thank you Karlam. I have learned that if you over fill this thing, that's when it leaks. I love this iron, no concern about temperature or squishing trim or beads or sequins. The downside is you have to let the iron cool before refilling it.

Unless it is a pressure iron, you won't blow it up. The extra water will just leak out the hole you put it in.
