I have an eclectic mix of furnishing from Ligne Roset to Chinese antiques! Recently, however, I was walking by the Room and Board store in Boston and found myself really loving so many of their pieces. I bought a mattress on that visit and was so thrilled with how smoothly the delivery went, that I am thinking of maybe purchasing other items from them. They seem super reasonable and the quality looks good. I am curious if anyone else has purchased from them and what your experience was. Thanks everyone

I never heard of Room and Board. I went to their website and looked around and saw some really nice stuff, but most of it was a bit more expensive than what I'd be willing to spend. A lot of pretty pieces, though!

Yes, I am familiar with Room and Board. We've never actually had a store close to where we were living, but they will deliver their items anywhere in the US even if you're not close to a store. My son's bedroom set is from Room and Board. I probably bought it when he was 5 and he's 13 now. I was so disgusted with the kid's furniture I was finding in the local furniture stores and I wanted to buy something that would last. I also wanted to buy something that was made in the USA. The set I bought him is solid maple and it still looks brand new. Have never regretted purchasing the set for him. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! I am so grateful to hear about the quality and how it was USA made stuff. I didn't realize that.
My mom told me that it's a really good company and I am thinking of giving them a try for a bookcase/ cabinet. While the price aren't cheap the are lower then some of other places I have been looking (like the Ligne Roset stuff which I really love).
Thanks again for your post!!

If you look at Room and Board's website, you will find that almost everything is manufactured in the USA. In fact, they usually will tell you what state an item is manufactured in. These days especially, that's very important to me. I am one of those people that believes in paying more for things that are going to last, especially furniture.

Living in Minneapolis, I at one time had several pieces of furniture from Room and Board. That was when their offerings had a Pottery Barn vibe.
Lately, while lovely and well made, the furniture has a more Danish modern look that doesn't play to my aesthetic.

Thanks so much!
