Does anyone else feel like downsizing Christmas decor?

I love decorating for Holidays, especially Christmas, however considering downsizing, and choosing only the most loved items, and purchasing g just a few fresh new items. I love candles in the windows of my 2 story traditional log home, but always seem to see candles flipping, breaking and lights burning out. What do you do with candles in windows?
