Since my kitchen is pretty open & in the center of my house, I have no wall space, so I have a calendar on my fridge held in place by a super stong Neodymium bar magnet (from Amazon).  Lesser magnets would slide down the fridge under the weight of a heavy calendar, but even thru multiple pages of calendar it doesn't budge.  I have smaller stuff like my dental appt. reminder held by a regular strength fridge magnet.  I also have some industrial strength magnetic hooks that I hang my oven mitts up on the side of the fridge closest to my stove in easy reach.

I have the granddaughters artwork on mine with magnets.........I know that there will be a day when it will be nice and clean and I will miss these days of her making pictures for me

No my fridge doesn't look like that.  The fridge has custom panels matching the cabinetry, so it blends right in.

@lolakimono  OMG, No !!. I cannot handle clutter anywhere. On the side of our fridg, we have the 24 hour nurseline for Premera and the emergency vet number. Period.
