Always wash first.  Nothing better than the smell and feel of freshly washed sheets.

I always wash new sheets before putting them on my bed...same applies to clothing. I find many of the items being imported ,code word for (China) have chemical odors and often times the colors bleed.

Of course. I wash everything before use. No way would I sleep on new sheets or wear clothes before washing them. When I go from flannel sheets in the winter to bamboo sheets when it warms up I wash those again before I put them on the bed even though I washed them when I switched from bamboo to flannel.

Re: Do you wash new sheets?

[ Edited ]

I wash everything before I use it.  Many years ago, my friend bought new towels, some being a rust color.  She did not wash them before they were used.  She put them out for company, and someone took a shower and washed his white hair.  His hair was full of rust-colored lint from the towels not being washed.  I have never forgotten that.  Plus, you never know about the cleanliness of the person who did the packing.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
