Do you still prefer white appliances? - Page 9

I have all white and we are just beginning to choose counter (I do not like granite, prefer consistency of quartz) floor and backsplash (something with glass tiles) I am looking to go black/white/grey on all of the above. I have white cabinets that we are debating changing or not, even if we change them, I will still stay white. Don't like SS or granite

Our DW and stove are new (ish) and white, if we get a new fridge, I am going red for my accent color! (and then will eventually replace DW and stove in red)

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

I replaced all kitchen appliances last year and I chose white. The truth is, white is all I wanted before I even started looking. I don't like a kitchen full of SS; it is cold looking and I would be a crazy woman trying to keep it smudge free. With the right kind of decor or kitchen, black is pretty. but I would always be wiping smudges and I just don't like black appliances enough. White doesn't look cold or faddish and I don't get tired of it or bored with it.

I have been wanting black appliances for a while now and, as luck would have it, our dishwasher went dead on us this week!...You have no idea how thrilled I was and will now be shopping for a new black dishwasher over the weekend! WooHoo!

Our stove is a flat top electric and the top is black, so that will blend in fine for a while...Meanwhile, I'm hoping our refrigerator follows the fate of the dishwasher in the not too far future!
