@Constance2 I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious kitty. He looks so much like my cat, Daisy, who passed away in February.  (Check my avatar) 

 

i completely understand the the pain you are feeling.  We lost our dog and cat in the past year, along with two grand kitties.

Yes, we got one 3 years ago when my son was 4. He named his elf "Silly". I bought it from Amazon. He loved it and every morning the first thing he did when he woke up was look around the house for Silly. His dad and I were always thinking of different places to put him.

Yes, we bought one for our granddaughter. Our daughter has so much fun thinking up ways to hide it and other fun things she can be found.
