Do you have a desk in your home?

We live in an 880 sq. ft. cottage and there is no room for a desk unless we used a guest room. That's not happening.

Whenever we visit our accountant I walk away with 'desk envy'. He has the most gorgeous desk I have ever seen. Says he gets offers for it all the time.

I think he said the wood was pecan. I can't remember and I ask him every time we're there. LOL.

I sit at the kitchen table and do our bills which is fine. Our kitchen table is glass and was custom made. I've seen desks that actually look similar to it.

If I had his desk, I wouldn't mess it up with bills!

If I had his desk, I would just sit at it all day.

We have 4 desks now.

I have an antique side-by-side desk in the living room. DH has another antique desk in our bedroom. The office has 2 cheap furniture-in-a-box desks that I used when I worked at home.

I do bills on the sofa with my laptop.

DS moved out and took the 5th desk with him.

I have a small desk where i do any and all computer and paperwork plus I also use it as a sewing table.It is in the guest room so I can only use it when we do not have comapny. DH has a large desk in his den. He is the one who pays our bils and generally does 95% of the management of our home and finances since he retired. I had done this for 30 years so i decided it was his turn! I prefer to have the smaller desk because I have the smaller work load to do at the desk.

I think most people have some sort of desk set-up because of computers, even if it has to be in a corner of the living room.

Where do you have your computer? Is it a laptop?

I have my own desk in the spare bedroom. DH works at the dining room table.

I use to have one from my grandmother, but gave it away because it took up too much room. Sometimes I think I would like to setup an office with a desk.

no room for a desk...I have one of those Table Mates (V26251) that the Q. sells...my computer....pens...papers....etc are here which is where the bills are paid...I do them online so I don't need a lot of room....though a nice desk would be wonderful if I had the room...

Have an antique wood desk in the foyer area that is more for show than for go. DH has the computer armoire in the den that serves as a desk.

I have two huge desks in an office at home. Then I have an antique desk in a bedroom. I'm sitting in here in my family room with the laptop on my lap on my couch watching TV.

On my dining room table are boxes and boxes of business papers. I am a slob! You have no idea!
