I don't, but I grew up helping my mother hang clothes out, especially sheets. There's just nothing better than the smell of clean sheets that have dried on a clothesline!

I stripped the beds and hung the blankets and sheets out and a few throw rugs.....

Used to have them in my basement but haven't had them in years. Only two of us now so a drying rod is all I need. I may put up a clothesline in my backyard a few weeks before we move just to irritate our HOA. 😉

I have never lived in an area where I had a big enough yard or the community allowed an outside clothes line; however, I have clothes lines hanging in my basement. DH is very tall and is afraid of the dryer shrinking his clothes so he likes to hang his up.

Our house had 3 clotheslines in the laundry room when we bought it in 1984 and they're still going strong. I use them to hang my delicates, as well as our down jackets before putting them away until next winter. We have too many birds around here to risk hanging laundry outside.

Son just bought a mid-century bungalow home. Clothesline poles in backyard won't budge. He's thinking about putting in a kid zip line. The poles are much farther apart than my childhood clothesline. It brought back memories of early childhood.

One of the things O love about summer is hanging the clothes out on my umbrella tree. I used to have the pulley system, never again. Love the umbrella tree. LM
