Yes! It was one of the best investments I have ever made. Anytime the power goes out I don't need to worry at all. It's extremely easy to use and has always made me feel safe knowing that I won't be left without electricity in case of a storm.

@qualitygal Having a Generac up here is like having 4WD and flannel. It's just a must have.

 

Some prefer Kohler to Generac. When I had my Generac installed you had to have an approved installer or their warranty was void. Might want to check if that's still true.

 

They can get loud and exhaust hot gasses. While I have acreage, I don't have neighbors on one side so that's where it went, behind the garage. Mine is on propane as the closest natural gas is 5+ miles away.

 

When power goes out up here it can be days to be restored. I want to come home to peace of mind.
