Yes, I do enjoy my home. I'm on my way soon to another home and will leave this one in the past. I will have my memories and they are all good one's of the home. She's been here for us and we put love into her.

Yes. After 24 years in our home, we sold it last week to a lovely young couple. They are thrilled about the house and I'm getting a bit sentimental. This has been in the plans, to downsize and move 20 minutes closer to town in a new, maintenance-provided community. Prepping for retirement in a few years. Like the home where we raised our children and will like my new home. Ready for minimalizing and convenience.

I really love my home. I love being at home, and entertaining and having family over. Now are there some things I wish were different -YES! I wish it were a little bigger with a Dining Room, but you can't have everything! My husband and I raised two daughters mostly in this house, and we both enjoy decorating, and landscaping..The older I get the more I find myself a homebody. I love to go out shopping, and out to eat, vacations etc, but I am always happy to get back home!

I do love my home. I also love our little town. We are always happy to go to Pa. in the summer. Enjoy seeing family and friends and even enjoy being at camp - campfires on cool nights and having foods we miss that are only available in Pittsburgh. But in the end - we are very glad to get home to our little town and our nice home on the lake.

My home is my haven, my sanctuary, my respite from the rest of the world. The absolute thrill of our new condo (6 months in) is still alive and well.

I bought my brand new single family house in Oxnard, CA almost 16 yrs ago. I'm retired and home 98% of the time. My home is very comfy, corner lot, lots of light and sun, very quiet street with little to no traffic, nice neighbors. My computer (desktop) is in my living room - so I could look out my front window - so I'm not claustrophobic. Prior to living here - I "stupidly" purchased a 2 story townhome (Oak Park, CA) - that I called the "townhouse from hell". I lived there 11 yrs - as I couldn't afford to move out as the real estate market had gone way down. It was in a high-end area - but living in that townhouse was the worst. Too small, no sun (my neighbors' unit behind mine blocked the sun), the kitchen was in the front next to the entry - and the kitchen window faced my front door. Couldn't even see out. In the long entry into my unit, the builder put all those rain gutters and vents - so when my neighbor in the next unit over did her laundry (washer/dryer in her garage) - I smelled the fumes in my unit. There were many more problems - and I called myself a "survivor". Every day living in my "new" house - I appreciate even more. Be careful when purchasing. I bought the townhouse from seeing their models --- and didn't see any of the misery ahead.

I enjoy being home more than anything else in the world!! Sometimes I worry that I'm a bit too reclusive! I look forward to getting home from work and hanging out with my kitties every day. Some weekends I park the car Friday night when I get home from work and don't leave again till Monday. I do my errands after work, since I'm already out.
I used to be on the go constantly, and then I took the plunge and bought my first home. It's been love ever since!
Are there things I'd like to change? Sure. I have lists of home projects, some big, some small, but I still love home. It has the perfect layout for me, just the right amount of room, and just the amenities I need to be comfortable. I am very happy with my choice and while it may be modest to some, it's truly my dream home as far as reality is concerned. Now, if I were a millionaire, well, I'd probably upgrade ![]()

I do love where I live and I am so blessed with my flat...........so thankful. I have windows although I can't see out of my front living room as it is tiny and the windows are doubled and it has a film on it and he will not take it out and give me a new one said the window is in the cement but someone said it can be done. Love my flat. It is small though.
