Re: Do you cut off the tags?

It's  risky but I like to live life on the edge.  I cut the tags off of pillows and mattresses.  Those " do not remove" warnings are directed at retailers.  I leave them on towels because you can tell they've been removed like they do at outlets.

Yes.   I even drive a car that has no brand identification on it.

@Desertdi.  That's a first, a generic car.

I cut the tags off of EVERYTHING!  I feel free to say that because this is an anonymous board and I know my secret's safe here.  Woman Very Happy

Always on my clothes, not so much on towels, they really don't bother me on towels.

Yes ... off every single thing.  I have a "thing" about tags.

Re: Do you cut off the tags?

I've never even thought about cutting the tags off towels.  I only cut them off clothes (tops usually) if it's something that's hitting me the wrong way.  I prefer to leave them in.  That way when I donate them, the place will know what size they are.

Re: Do you cut off the tags?

Tags are not allowed in my house. EXCEPT one...my mattress tag because it's still under warranty and that tag is a proof-of-purchase piece of documentation.

Re: Do you cut off the tags?

The tags I really hate the most are the warning tags on small appliances like blow dryers and flat irons, and electric candle warmers. The tags are wrapped around the cord and leave a sticky residue when you cut them off (being so so careful not to cut the electric cord)!
