Do you buy into it when the hosts say....

something like "this bakeware will change the whole look of your kitchen", or "these sheets (or quilt set) will transform your entire bedroom"?

I do buy into it for kitchen and home decor items. I often change the bedding, or the throws in the living room, or the color of the dishes and bakeware to change the look of a room in my house. I love housekeeping and home decor in general, and I find it fun and fulfilling to change things up, everything from tablescapes to bedding, to seasonal vignettes for decorating.

Anyone else?

The bakeware can't change the look of my kitchen because I keep them in the cabinets. And you can't see my sheets because it's covered by a bedspread.

If you change out bedding entirely, I can see how that might change the look of a room. I can't understand how bakeware would change the whole look of a kitchen. A bed is usually a large part of a bedroom, often the focal point. How much bakeware are we talking that it's the focal point of a kitchen?

I don't own any decorative bakeware and mine is all just plain and functional and lives in a cabinet.

I'm really not big on decorating in general, but I like the idea of decorating with functional items, like attractive bakeware. Maybe I'll have to experiment with that.

NO........what they say does not influence me.......I listen to the description, look at it and decide if I need it. They don't need to be telling me I need it. I realize they are doing their job but personally I feel they spend WAY TOO MUCH time on each presentation.

Nope, only thing that will change your kitchen is a new house {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

So true!

My bakeware is either NordicWare or Fiesta so that's changing nothing. Sorry, I buy bakeware to bake!

Bedding? I got so sick of cheap bedding that I could scream. I went back to buying better quality and I only change out my bedroom look twice a year.

I've never heard a host say that bake ware can change the whole look of my kitchen. Bake ware goes in cabinets, anyway.

Maybe a little bit. I mean a seven piece comforter set can really change the look of a bedroom and new dinnerware can brighten up a table. Still, I always ask myself if I really need the product, and more often than not, the answer is no.
