Re: Do you and your partner share a cover

@Ainhisg  We have separate rooms also.  I like it quiet and dark when I sleep and an often a night owl.

The BF sleeps with the TV on, snores and gets up between 1 and 2 am as he goes to work at 4am.

When we cruise, we compromise.........the sound on the TV is off, I sometimes wear ear plugs, and he often lets me sleep in until 7am.  LOL

This problem seems like it could be rectified with good ole fashion common sense.  I agree with the others...hotel staff is there to make sure their guests have what they need. So, if you need an additional blanket (cover) then ask them for one.  Why wouldn't you ask as soon as it became a problem? I'm sure this stay is costing into the thousands since it's been many weeks so I'm guessing the hotel staff would accommodate. Makes no sense to me...

I seriously do not want to make a fuss and confuse the poor house keeping staff

Well, you didn't have a problem per below  "making a fuss" last week when you didn't like your hair.  And stubble and a "huge hair" was left on your chin...

@I am still oxox  Perhaps you should consider changing your signature tag lin

No thanks I expect to get what I pay for and if not then I want it done right or a refund. What is wrong with that

Re: Do you and your partner share a cover

Since you're going to be out of your home for a longer period of time, you should be comfortable.

A good hotel wants its guests to be comfortable and are willing to accomdate guests' requests. Asking for an extra blanket/cover is a simple request.

To answer your question: yes, we do share the covers.

@I am still oxox Check in with the concierge and ask for an extra blanket at housekeeping's earliest convenience.

Something else if you don't mind ... a couple weeks ago you mentioned that you communicate with all your friends on facebook.  Are there any safeguards you use when on facebook that you'd be willing to share.

Truly that makes no sense especially if it was important enough to relay your situation to a forum.  Something is missing??

Re: Do you and your partner share a cover

Same here, 47 years of marriage and we always have separate blankets ------ otherwise there are blanket wars all night.

When we're away I'll use a top sheet and give dh the blanket.
