This is one of the first things I saw on Pinterest when I joined:

I know, it's way out there! How do folks think up things like this?

Also from Pinterest.
I don't have any of my own projects to share photos of at the moment, but hope you enjoy the Pinterest pics.

I don't do this myself but I have a friend who does. Her things are so cute and clever. She actually has a shop with a friend of hers to sell their work and contingent items from others.
They are open on thursday, friday and saturday and both still work other jobs. I don't know how they do it.

i was just laughing because i was saying to myself ""she knows what the idea is - she wants pics that we have done ourselves!""
Not necessarily. I just like to see cool ideas to get my brain working. Most of the things I've made haven't been all that impressive.

I love this idea!! My grandma used to have one of those old televisions too. I don't have a dog, but I'd consider making something like this if I did.

I used to have a bunch of them too, but I think I sold them at a garage sale...and now the prettier ones are harder to find.

I'm not much of a carpenter either...but I do own a hammer, a drill and I got a new Dremmel as a holiday gift...so I guess I need to stop making excuses and at least start fixing some things around here, right?
