In this particular kitchen it lookes like a piece of art. Very well done. Form and function.

We have one. And even though our kitchen ceiling is 12 feet high, I don't like it.

I can't say that's a look that I find attractive.  I don't want my range hood to be the first thing people notice when they enter my kitchen.

My, what a very big hood you have.

 

It's an attractive space.  Here, it works.
