@AuntG I am awaiting delivery of a new Speed Queen washer, and it offers a warm water rinse on one of the cycles. I was thrilled to see it. I can't wait until it gets here. And to the OP, it is the TR7 like @shoesnbags mentioned, and I am so excited to try the handwash cycle.

@Sunshine Kate We purchased an LG after our new GE washer of three months broke...due to a variety of circumstances, it took about a month to get it fixed.
I has an agitator.

I have an LG washer that I love. It has many different settings, including gentle. I passed on buying a Speed Queen as I didn't want a central agitator. I felt it wrinkled the clothes and twisted them up too much.

Sunshine kate.we have a ge top load washer we bought 5 years ago.its delicate cycle is the gentlest I have ever seen in a washer. It fills up as high as you want.gives you the option for a spray rinse or fills up with water for a deep rinse.and the agitation is very gentle. It makes very short slow strokes. It agitated for awhile. I have use it many times and does a great job. If you Google ge washer washing on delicate cycle I'm pretty sure you will be able to see it in action. From experience I can say it won't beat up your delicate washables. I have watched it wash on delicate so I saw for my self just how delicate.it is. Good luck finding the new washer. I just googled ge washer on delicate and yes you can see it working.my model number is gtw330askww . any newer ge washers will have that kind of delicate cycle.

@Sunshine Kate I wish I knew. I do have the Delicate cycle but don't have a clue how gentle it might be. The washer is locked during all cycles.
But I do know that it whips the clothing around so tight during the spin cycles. All the clothes are tightly wrapped around each other when the cycles are finished. So I would not recommend a Whirlpool.
And yes it seems very little water is used with every cycle. I have even had clothing go through all the cycles and still have dry spots.
So disappointed with my washer. Wish I had my 30 year old Maytag washer repaired instead of getting a new washer..

Exactly. I have to routinely use second rinse, do smaller loads (I pick level in my washer but not enough for true large loads). Where is the savings? No one can tell me its better for clothes, fabrics, time savings, water savings, etc.

I replaced my front load Whirlpool washer with a GE top load washer six months ago. It goes on sale at Home Depot during a holiday. I'm very happy with it, washes my clothes far better than the front load ever did. The washer has a clear insert in the lid and I watched the delicate cycle, very gentle agitation. Reasonably priced.
Model number: GTW585BSVWS, GE 4.5 cu. ft. Water Level Control Top Load Washer.

my new/er machine takes at least 2 times as long, with my old kenmore I could do all the laundry in one day and that was when there were the kids at home
