Re: Dining..... Something A Little Different

Overall, it's a little dark for me.  I'd probably soften it up with a lighter color on the walls.  Also, banquette seating does nothing for me and looks uncomfortable.

I like the idea..........for someone else.  And I like the floor.  Otherwise, it looks uncomfortable, way too dark, don't like the art work or lighting.

Overall, what a pretty little vignette. I like this. Neat looking table, too. I will say, though, that were I dining here, I'd hope to be given one of the chairs with backs!

I agree on all points.

I don't understand some of the "hideous" (and similar) comments at all.

This is different and pretty. At first I really disliked the light fixtures but the more I look at them the more I think I would keep them...they are perfect...complimenting the pretty chairs.

I think it's pretty and looks like a great place to sit and talk and laugh!

That looks like the paint color I used in my home, Thousand Oceans/Benjamin Moore.  It leans more navy in the dark and more green/lighter in the sunlight.

When I was looking at coordinating colors online, I remember seeing that red/berry color a lot and wasn't feeling it myself as an accent color.  Especially when it leans more green in certain light.

@DREAMON   I really like those light fixtures, too. I also like the way they set the table with the little striped bowls that match the shades.

@jubilant ,

Yes...it looks like a great deal of thought went in to then design of this small space. It definitely is well done.IMO
