I was thinking that if I bought any of these, I would hang them on my bedroom wall as wall art.

@Desert Lily   I have a semi large branch that I hung on the wall in our bedroom.  I hung some old/vintage jewerly from it...pearls and a couple of other necklaces...as well as a mercury glass bird....it looks nice...well I think so!!

The items you purchased will probably look nice as well.

@Mom2Dogs  I have a set of 4 large gold floral hooks that I have packed away. I wouldn't use either purse or any of the necklaces other than for special occasions, and I haven't bought them yet. If I do decide to buy any of them, I think it would be a shame to keep them hidden in a drawer with other glitzy pieces I have tucked away when they could add a little glamour to a bedroom wall.

I really like your branch idea!

I can't imagine using either of those handbags in my rather mundane life (haha), but they are exquisite and I'd love to have them even if, as you say, to use as art.

Maybe in a shabby chic bedroom.

@Desert Lily

They are pretty pieces and I agree it would be a shame to hide them away.  Displaying them in your bedroom is the perfect place.  I think the key to a pleasing display is the manner they are hung.  The branch suggestion is an option.  Small decorative hooks, You will have to see how they look.

Old costume jewelry also makes an interesting window hanging

I have a couple of colorful pieces of costume jewelry that I don't ever wear.  (I like the real thing, LOL) but I have them hanging on a couple of my lampshades, they are quite lovely!   I love the "branch" idea too, that's interesting.......

I am a big fan of Jay Strongwater's decorative pieces. Using his for inspiration, I have covered some frames with some of my late mother's beautiful costume clip-on earrings. I have done four 5x7 frames. Each time I see the frames, I think of my mom and am so glad I didn't leave the earrings in a drawer. I get to enjoy them everyday.
