Yes it is! Let one piece of clutter be somewhere and before you know it, there are 7 others with it, and the pile attracts more!

I have investigated and determined this to be true.

@Harpa Took my PC from work to Computerland back in the 80's because something was wrong. The manager took the outer case off, turned around with a Post-it in his hand and said "Do you need this?"

I said "Yes I do I've been looking for that!" Wasn't what was wrong but we had a good laugh. My student worker would put them on disks and I'd griped at him about it.

Explains why my husband has pile upon pile of stuff. Papers, unopened mail, books, wires, stuff for fly-tying, tools, boxes with misc stuff. You name it, he has it in a pile. Can't stand it.

I make a goal every week to get rid of at least 7 things that week -- I motivate myself by listing what I discard in a little notebook--IT HELPS!!
