And not in a good way.
Dark leather (boo leather) looks awkward in the light and airy setting.
Coffee table is all wrong.
Don't like the Bungle in the Jungle theme on table, in fireplace nor the artwork above the mantle.
Just make it a feminine room and give him his own room, I say.
This reminds me of the time my husband and I were discussing sofa's. He said "pick any couch you want". Once we got to the furniture store he was against every couch I wanted and the sales person was growing weary of all his opinions. We were in the process of building a house so I turned to him and said (in front of the sales clerk) , "fine, you pick out the couch but I get the garage and your den". He turned and walked out of the store and I bought the couch I wanted. That was 30 yrs. ago.

The room is beautiful but I only see the chairs as masculine.

I like this room and the furnishings with a few exceptions:
Change out artwork, sunburst, and candles over mantel.
Remove brown pedestals. Why are they needed? There’s nothing displayed on them.
Switch out lamp on table behind sofa.
Remove plant from inside hearth & reduce number of plants on table to one.
I think the room looks fairly gender neutral.
