Did I Buy A Lemon

I had to purchase a new washer. Remembering the one my Mom always had that was dependable...I bought a Maytag..of course without looking at the reviews.

Every review I looked at had negative feedback. Either they didn't wash good or they needed repairs before a year of use.

Does anyone love their Maytag or are you too having problems. Do you think I can return it? I haven't used it yet.

What brand would you recommend?
