Bear with me, 1st photo post attempt.

I found this heavy mirror at a yard sale, placing it at the back of

a black marble antique wash bar. What do you think?

I would hang it at eye level over the cabinet.  Move the other picture up or somewhere else.  Maybe sconces on either side of it?  Or some tall candles or vases on the wash stand.

I agree with @Sooner .  It should be hanging over the cabinet.  I would move the picture somewhere else.

@Sooner - Any particular height or color of vases or candles?

A mirror should be placed where it reflects something pleasant.  Yours is reflecting the ceiling because it's tilted.  I'd relocate it to a place where the reflection is more appropriate.

@Kimnola  Whatever you like!  I think anything would work!  I'm thinking maybe a few smaller pictures, artwork, or even three smaller mirrors underneath the big piece to create some interest.  Some smaller framed mirrors would be nice!  They would reflect the light and fill in blank space without being too much.

You could do tall matching candle holders and candles on either side, or a tall vase with some "sticks" or something on one side, candle on the other, etc.  Just something tall on either side to frame the mirror.
