How dark are your cabinets?
Do you want a color or do you want to stick with a neutral?
A neutral that I like is Teepee Brown from Behr. (It's darker than beige, but not really dark at all. It's a very warm beige that is neutral)
A color I like is October Mist from Benjamin Moore.

I'd like to know more about the colors in your countertop and backsplash. Maybe pull a color from those.

It would be easier to visualize if you included a photo of the kitchen.

My kitchen floor is beige/grey tile-look with walnut cabinetry. I tried a greige but it’s kind of dull against white trim. Any suggestions appreciated.
Pale/light green. Refreshing and nature-oriented.
I agree with you about pale/light green (almost a sage color).... that's what I put in my open concept kitchen/dining/living areas and it goes well with everything..... I really like it..

Maybe a warm medium gray if the room gets a lot of light
But if not, go with a lighter gray.
Don't pick from a computer screen, go to the store

If you're going with neutrals you should just keep trying greys/beiges until you find one that works.
If you're willing to go outside the box, how about something like lime green?
Not for everyone, but perfect for someone.

I don't know if you like color on the walls but any soft/pale version should work. Get some paint chips from any hardware or big box store and place a few on the wall at a time. First, find the chip of the color that is similar to your floor. See where it is on the paint chip strip. ( Is it # 3 or 2, etc.) Then zero in on that same placment on the sample chips. Blues, ivories, whites with undertones work well with most of these odd color situations. This is what has worked for me. Take your time and remember---it's only paint. You can always paint over it if you do not like it. Take some stress off the decision and it usually makes it a bit easier.
