@amyb   Those are the cutest Birkies.  I would surely wear them.  You most likely have lots of summer or fall clothes that would go with them.  Put them in a spot where you will see them and I'll bet you wear them more.

Seriously, I've been wearing them around the house. As one of you said...I DO have lots of items that will go with these, as I wear lots of corals in summer and always love my olive greens. So, these will get new life again.

I just have too many sandals and sneakers lately...they've somehow collected, I just don't know how........? 🤔 

And in recent years I favored my Spencos, and my Oofos last year when I had the Plantar Fascitis. That's also when my Birkis came back out. I realize they're having a "fashion resurgence" lately...but the "young peeps" prefer the more traditional "Arizona" clunky style Birks....when I did all my buying it was more the Papillo fashion styles I went for.

I've got to say again to this group....it is a breath of fresh air here...where everyone is good natured, supportive of each other and just having a fun time posting, while decluttering.

So often, on these boards, what starts out by some poor original poster just chatting about something that interests them, the Debbie Downers come in jumping all over them over nothing, and nasty comments start, back & forth between posters. It always, always, says way more to me about the nasty posters than it ever does about whoever they're attacking. At any rate...none of that here, and a few other good threads I follow. Thanks to all. 🌺

@amyb   Of course I can't find a picture, but I had platform sandals with flowers on the cork when I was a teenager.  I swear I wore them until they fell apart.  Plain brown straps with 70's flowers. I think they were one of my favorite shoes ever!  Wear the cute birki's, they are so darn cute!

@lynnie61 Oh I'd have loved those platforms too; they sound adorable! We're from the same era...though plenty of young girls are pretty boho too. You ever go to NaturalLife website...I just bought a few items there yesterday (they were having a 17% off sale for St. Paddy's day...I succumbed!) Anyway, you might like it. 

If you ever find a pic of those platforms it'd be cute to see. 🌺 🌼 🌸🌻

Your birkies are so cute. I was imagining a print much "louder", but these are a nice feminine floral amongst a soft animal print. I'm glad you decided to hold on to them.

Working on sorting thru my seasonal decor - Easter bunnies

were once my decor addiction!  And my vast amount of Temptations Egg Hunt.  Not sure if I'm going to Spring decorate besides my wreaths.

I found a few things….

Thrown out is a Tignanello purse, which is a shame because 90% of it was in good shape.  It’s probably been about ten or more years since I last wore it.  So I used it and noticed the trim against my body was starting to peel.  It wasn’t noticeable, so I went out with it again, and the leather coating started peeling off up and down the strap!  I remember the warnings about Tigs not using solid leather straps, but I've never had a problem before this.  The strap couldn’t be detached, so it became unusable.  Now I’m wondering if the rest of my old Tignanellos will hold up any better?

Donated a Martha Stewart Appetizers cookbook from the 80s.  She’s so young on the cover and wearing a green dress with big, puffy sleeves.  It’s like new condition because I looked through it now and then but never used it. All the recipes were too frou-frou for any entertaining I did.  It could be a collector’s item, so I hope it finds a good home with someone who appreciates it.

Donated a Two Faced chocolate scented bronzer.  I used it so lightly, it looks like brand new, so I hope that’s something that’s okay to donate.  It smelled delicious, but it made me look like I had a dirty face.  I’ve never had a bronzer that was so wrong for me. 

Donated a dozen toothbrushes still in the packages.  You know how you get the freebies when you have a cleaning?  Between my DH and I they were adding up.  This donation center is run by a church so if they don’t sell them, I think they’ll reach people who can use them.

DH donated a logo jacket that he got from a swag bag when he was working.  He never wore it so it's like new.

There isn't really much going on here at all. Tossed 3 socks, a broken hanger, regular trash. I sorted thru the nerf guns with my younger son but need to ask my older son if he wants them before a decision is made on those. 

I'm kind of in a holding pattern until I find out what is going on with my older son. I don't see much point in decluttering, or even organizing, if he is going to be moving out and taking a bunch of stuff with him. I figure if he does leave I will organize what is left after he takes his stuff. 

I'm trying to organize and put away some seasonal items (clothes, snow shovels, etc) but it will be 70 here one day and 30 with snow flurries the next. I got some of the stuff put away but some of the winter stuff still needs to stay out. It's frustrating. Come on spring!
