Re: Declutter 2025: What Have You Purged Today?

Hubby tossed a pair of long underwear that were all stretched out. My son took a few more small kitchen items home and a DVD player.

Re: Declutter 2025: What Have You Purged Today?

Ok, so I pulled my Christmas Decor out of the attic this morning, and purged some items that I haven't used in a couple of years.

They will go to my friend's Church - She operates their "Clothes Cottage" that gives away clothes, and household items.

Hopefully, someone will be able to use the decor - It's in mint condition, and perhaps will be a blessing to his or her householdSmiley Happy

Hi all,

Not much new, but a one in one out...this month finally got some new flannel sheets to replace very old Northern Nights ones...tossed one of the NN set, the rattier of the two, yesterday. Still kept one for backup when I wash the other and don't maybe put it right back on the bed that same day. Good for now. Eventually, will replace that other old set too.

Did a digital declutter of emails this week...y'know, when you don't look at it all for a week except maybe the latest daily...they get out of hand again...and TONS of promotional stuff this week with Black Friday/Cyper Week etc.

Still have one small donation bag in my trunk, with only two items in it...will be dropping off with or without anything added, (which I kept thinking I'd have more), this weekend.

I keep checking my consignment Instagram page to see if she posted any of my items...she put up an outfit with my red Chicos pants. She listed them as "Medium" which is strange since Chicos doesn't size that way, but whatever, nice holiday pants for whomever they may fit.

I don't see where she posted my tree, or in any of the store shots of all the Christmas decor I don't see it either...I'd like to think maybe she already sold it. I'm more concerned she had trouble setting it up, as we did in the store that day. It was a tad wonky...it's coiled up and you stretch it out, and it's sturdy thick metal, then you attach it at one end and we were having trouble getting that to stay attached, but she said she'd work with it because she really liked it. I got it to work the year I put it up, so hopefully she did. I've decided if it doesn't sell, I don't want it back after all.

Which on that last note...note to self...that "once it's out"...once you detatch from something, you might have been iffy on, you do realizee you seldom really want it back.

That's it for now~have a good day, everyone.

Re: Declutter 2025: What Have You Purged Today?

@rnmom  Thank you for your kind words--way back when. I wish I could say I am feeling 100%, but that isn't true.

I texted my niece today asking if it is possible to damage internal organs by a vicious cough. I have not been able to sleep laying down because if I start coughing it really hurts my insides. Sadly I'm not one of those people who can fall asleep anywhere. But this too shall pass.
